O.k guys, this is my last post about NV30, before it's announcement date (can't reveal when it will be announced, but contrary to what many here seem to think, it's going to happen... soon... )
I thought it was important enough to start this thread, so here we go:

Unfortunately, my source confirmed to me that the mysterious per primitive processor, thoroughly discussed here and also mentioned in nvidia's paper "what comes after 4" won't make an appearance in NV30.

I recall that when the CineFX architecture was unveiled in nvidia's paper, DemoCoder expressed concern about the reason the per primitive processor wasn't mentioned there and thought it might be mentioned in other papers.

In Nvidia's latest paper (the "confidential" one), he noticed something that seemed to hint about it, but unfortunately, this wasn't the case...

Again, as I said in my previous posts, there is no way I can prove u anything I said here or in my previous threads, you'll just have to wait for the announcement date to see for youselves. Rest assured, I'm certain in this and the previous info I posted about NV30, so take that as u will!

Again, whether u believe this or not, let's make a reasonable and decent discussion about this!

The AA & Aniso methods employed in NV30 are currently a mystery, so I donno anything about that, if u wondered...

By "announced", i am assuming that you mean that Nvidia is going to officially tell us that the card exists and that is will be better than anything. But there is no way, in any logical sense, that we are going to see it until Christmas (most likely after).
So really the annoucement will just be marketing stuff that could really mean anything...

But i guess you never know, we all could be totally off. But when the CEO optimistacally says holiday season..... *shrug*

We won't see the card till christmas I assume...

By announced I mean that Nvidia will announce NV30, like ATI announced R300.

And yes, u can expect a lot of marketing, etc... a lot of technology demonstration and obviously, a lot of previews inspecting the new architecture.

What I meant by that, is that an addition to that, various sites will inspect various aspects of NV30, such as: memory controller, pipelines, etc...
