The rumors about Nvidia in PS3 didn´t say that Nvidia will build Visualizer It says that Nvidia help on the design.

apparently , some idiot lost the plans of the cell chip and he dropped the ps3 prototype on the ground, breaking everything in a million pieces.

instead of redoing all the work, Sony goes directly for PS4 development.

I think we all knew sony would not work with nvidia. Sony tends to use as much inhouse design as they can. Even if nvidia would liscense the i.p to sony . I doubt sony would go for it . It would add un needed cost to the ps3 design. I'm sure sony is able to build a good all around gpu. I doubt it be inline with what ati and nvidia will have but i'm sure the cell cpu no matter how powerfull it actually is will help make up for a lack of cutting edge gpu.

There is nothing that proves at this point that Sony will not work with Nvidia on portions of the GS3/Visualizer GPU.

this is just one article saying its not happening. there are other articles saying it will. we just dont know at this point.
