That is incorrect. They get a fixed LICENSING fee for the first 3 years, that period having begun a few quarters ago. Royalties will be there for the entire console lifespan. This agreement in fact specifically is to have a "smoother" PS3 revenue for NVIDIA, since the licensing revenue at roughly the same time they estimated royalties would peak, so that it doesn't have a significant impact.

What caught my eye the most was the talk regarding G80 (NV50). I was actually quite surprised they were talking about 65nm already, but I guess Jen really loves his margins.
