Ya, I am capturing with ASFRecoder. :D Turns it into a WMV file automatically. :D Didn't know Flashget did that though, cool info.

Hey 991060,

Thanks for posting that link up! 8) That presentation was so cool, even seeing how excited Tim Sweeny sounded about the abilities of the NV40 and the Unreal 3 Engine.

I definitely need to see one of these presentations in person now, What a blast!

Tim Sweeney was there( I haven't watched the whole video yet)? Man, that's the best news I heard in these days.

who was the first bloke introducting the whole thing, before CEO - just curious...

nVidia's Worldwide Vice President of Marketing, Dan Vivoli

That's the FUD guy :)

the show was great... and new game engines ... mmmm... even EQ2 looks excellent even as such trough WMP let alone Unreal Warfare engine...

And downplaying PS 2.0 was the name of the game... Crytek guy didn't do them too many favours in that respect, he kept on repeating PS2.0 or 3.0 :)

Thanks for the link.

The Critek's Ceo, cevat yerli, said that the "displacement mapping" was "some kind of dipslacement mapping" that is point of view dependant.
Did he talked about offset mapping?

And the Nvidia guy didn't say that the "before/after" shots were PS2.0/PS3.0...anyway , it's a cheap shot to compare low detail version to a high detail + dynamic lights version...

The NVidia guy did not have to say it was ps2.0..it was written on the lower right part of the screen for everyone to see
