Nokia's internet tablet turned into wireless bt input device(compatible with ps3?)

I ran into this while browsing some news. Seems like a really cool replacement for my current setup which is wireless usb keyboard+mouse connected to ps3. The problem is that keyboard+mouse combo is somewhat inconvenient to use from sofa.

On the larger side of things I wonder if that application actually could be extended to contain the functionality of the bt remote control. Add a fancy custom ps3 UI + support for macros + bt remote controls and I would say it's pretty ultimate input device to accompany ps3. Or why not even a pc connected to tv.

Turning a tablet to convenient bt remote control/keyboard/mouse is a bloody brilliant idea!

Bluetooth mice and tablets should be usable on a PS3 but I think they are restricted to XMB navigation at the moment. We may have to wait for Sony's touchpad + keypad combo for any special use case (like their official headset). So it's at best a novelty now.

May be the tablet input is useful for LBP, but I'd rather Sony focus on PS Eye support system-wide (if it's accurate enough).

With this software I could actually start playing cd without using the tv as a display. "play cd"-button that maps to commands moving focus to some known part in menu(i.e. leftmost menu's top item) and then scrolling from there x-amount left and y amount down and click on the cd. Even better, one could create a mimicked ps3 UI that shows where you are navigating(should work quite ok. until sync is lost). If sync is lost there could be a "save me" button that again puts selection to known place(and then to the place where focus "should" be)

Yes, I know this can be done with regular learning remote control. I have a tablet laying round so I rather use that instead of mouse, keyboard and yet another remote control. I'm genuinely excited about this tablet as bt remote/mouse/keyboard software.
