Nice Vista FAQ

I like win xp myself, it's stable and does its job.

however, I am willing to risk current stability and harmony in order to "conquer new lands"......

I'll wait until you get it all settled and colonized before I bring my ship to Vista's shores.

Or until I actually NEED it for some game. ;)

Start out slow :) I got 2 copies of Vista and am putting one on my laptop and will get used to it there. Then later I move my SLI system to Vista. No hurry there yet.

I'm still waiting to really get started, I even gave up playing with Vista a few weeks ago and wiped out the install of it to make room for STALKER.

I'm not really knocking it, just knocking the need for it now as I don't see it yet.

Vista > XP

Being one of the lucky few with virtually any issues, I can safely say that Vista has been a joy.

I've got it on my Inspiron E1505 and I'm loving it. Lots of little things that are different, but it "feels" far smoother on this box than XP ever did. Battery life breaks even essentially, maybe better life in Vista when using wireless, but probably better life under XP when playing games. Not a big worry either way.

Now, my "main rig" is a different story. I'm most definitely waiting it out until I see some newer drivers.
