It looked awesome at first but as it sunk in, I realize it seems kind of like Bionic Commando rearmed, shadow complex, and others I never got into.
Strider shouldn't be a metroidvania. I've never gotten into a metroidvania game...should have been 2D sidescroller, possibly even with hand drawn art.
Gamersyde has some HQ actual gameplay.
