New Spidey 2 trailer

Nope don't recognize.

But they gotta work on getting the animation to look more real.
Bah, humbug! Suspend disbelief, and just enjoy the fireworks. I think many people have this problem of over analyzing the movie and not actually enjoy whats happening on screen.

Anyways, I hope we get to see more of Kirsten.
later,
epic

I don't think they were ever aiming for it to look totally real. In a lot of ways that would suspend belief. I mean come on...it is a character that is based off of a comic book and that is supposed to be larger than life. Either way it looks to be a pretty good movie and I am with epic with regards to Kirsten Dunst.

Some of the CGI in the Hulk trailers looked noticeably worse than the final film, so what we saw might get touched up a little. Some of the shots did look a bit too cartoonish.

No no. I obviously know nobody swings from "spider" webs and can stick to walls like that.

The problem is, it doesn't look "real", ignoring the fiction of it. The motion looks wrong, the animated sections don't match the filmed sections, and the quality changes appreciably during the movie (particularly bad in Final Fantasy) which jars me out of my suspension, ruining the fiction.

i noticed this in the trailer as well. It was particularly bad in a few spots.

I think maybe I'll just watch Superman 2...looks like the same movie. ;)
Oh come on, Superman 2 sucked compared to the original. We have no idea if the second spidy movie will be good/bad. Lets give it a chance.

Im waiting for my favorite comic book hero to hit the big screens: Iron Man. Now that should be a good movie.

later,
epic

Trailers nowadays give away all the plot...a shame .

This one does that the only thing you're going to the movie for is to see how it unfolds and the action.

Speng.

Just as long as they don't kill the Spidey franchise like they killed Batman after Batman Returns, I'll be happy. :)

What does everyone think of the upcoming Punisher movie?

No fanfare, no advertisments, no buildup, no nothing until a couple of weeks before the film hits?

* Natoma smells a stinker

Then again, I was never really into the Punisher series anyways, so what do I know. :)

Bit like the buildup to Shaun of the Dead, and that was great.

Me, I'll be watching both Spidey and Punisher.

I thought the HD trailer rocked...but other than that I don't have any real interest in seeing the movie...just not my type. :)

Is the Iliad any less impressive knowing that the forces of Troy will be defeated by a big wooden horse?

Slightly OT, but I was one of (apparently) very few who hated, HATED Spider-Man. Did I mention that I hated that dreadful garbage? Because I did (hate it very much).

They were? Noooo! Where was the spoiler warning? I though Hector and Paris would slay the Ajax, Achilles, Menelaus, Agamemnon and Odysseus and sent the Greeks fleeing for their lives. Way to ruin the book for me.

Whether it sucks or not is not my point. (Though I though Superman 2 wasn't bad at all....Sperman started to tank with 3....)

My point is, we have another "I will give up my hero status to persue something even higher and nobler, like love....but then at some point realize that being a hero is actually higher and nobler than my selfish desire for self-pleasure, and that I have to come to grips with the fact that I can't have my cake and eat it too...." plot line.
