Well then at least make a decent topic ~about~ what makes this screen so special to spark some constructive discussion or adding thoughts etc.

Posting just *pictures* without clarifying where its found and what is said or known about that particular picture/screen/render will definately provoke flames etc - something simply not wanted overhere. There's already far too much noise given the influx of countless n00bs in recent weeks.

This ins't teamxbox/ign/ga forums, nor do we want beyond3d to turn into a place like that.

And about the screen shot. HOLY F*ck. I was looking at it thinking it was some fan that posting a real photo, but then edges looked too perfect. Man that's really looks realistic.

I know it's a racing game and thus the environments won't look as good as some other games, but... I'm really not impressed. And I agree, do we need a new post for a single screenshot when we have other posts of PGR3 screens?

Maybe I just can´t appreciatte it, but all I´m seeing is low geometry, ho hum textures and prebaked lightining. Is there something else going on?

advancing the thread, can anyone who is a pro tell us why or why not this is/isn't looking next gen?

dukmahsik, where did you find that grab? It doesn't even have a logo on it. I'm not sure that any image off the bizzarecreations site is a screen (and that's what your ultimately implying).

Anyway, before I don't know the framerate of the title - I'm sure as hell not going to get excited about screens without reference, input or even a logo on it. Until there's some input to this screen (and others following with equal detail), this is just a *picture* - nothing more.

This really doesn´t look all that fantastic. Maybe it´s the setting, but, like I said, I don´t see what this picture has that has guys like QRoach orgasming.

Seems like a lot of detail for something that should be flying past at 100MPH or so. Did one of the modelers spend extra time on this section, or is this typical of the entire environment?

Since PGR models actual cities it should be possible to compare this render to an actual photo of this location. That would be very telling.

To be honest I think you are in the minority on this,most actually have a hard time accepting it.
