The lack of detail on the ground next to the camera in these shots is due to their implementation of Motion Blur.

The game seems to abuse the MB effect, if you ask me, I guess it looks okay in motion, but still...

I think thats a big reason why this game needs to be seen in motion (more so than other next gen games), the marketing screenshots seem to "overuse" or "abuse" motion blur in the sense but maybe If we look at the game in motion that may not be the case. If you stop your vehicle, or crash, the motion blur should have no reason being there, so we would get a better idea of the actual game, atleast from a visual perspective.
