IIRC, there's a Lenovo 22" 1920x1200 panel that's xVA. Everything else 22" is TN with RTC on/off at 1680x1050.

This is not an issue for everyone. Text does not look as good, but for the most part it's hard for me to tell if a game is running below native res. And I'm picky. I have yet to see or even read about an LCD monitor without annoying flaws.
I've actually found the new CCC settings for GPU scaling to work quite well. Black bars on the side sort of sucks, but it beats the hell out of a stretch/distorted display for me.
It must just be a personal thing. To me I find it pretty frustrating, but I don't actually mind using low levels of AA or AF nearly as much as many here do.
