New Features???

Isn't it true that at least 25% of the NV40's "new features" are already implemented in the R300+ architecture? The reason I bring it up is based on the fact that many are saying the R420 will simply be a "fall" refresh of the R300 making it seem like ATi is behind on feature set. But in reality PS3 is the only real leap, and considering how long it took for developers to implement DX9 technology it will be at least a year or more before this becomes a necessity.

Just my thoughts on the situation.
