New demo from nesnausk

Working ok from Kotka, Finland... quick loading times too.

Hey, has Nenausk group any plans to come Assembly? :) with 64K Intro or Demo entry perhaps?

4K and 64K have been extremely high quality during last two years, but the Demo has been lacking the thrill it used to have...

Worked fine for me and good speed on the download. :)

Really nice demo and good to see effects like DoF being used "right". Of course this is easier in scripted runs than in real gameplay.

Seems like the character only cast shadows when the white walls are up though?

I had no problem getting the site from stateside. It's only about 16kB/s downloading for me, but I think I'm pulling about 350kB/s on Azureus right now so that probably has something to do with it. ;)

I love your requirements:

Requirements

* DirectX 9.0c runtime installed.
* Video card that supports pixel shaders 2.0 and has at least 64MB memory
o Radeon 9800, GeForce 6600 or better recommended, with 128MB
o On slower cards or 64MB ones, don't go to very high resolutions; use 1024x768 or 800x600 or even 640x480 for the very low-end.
o On GeForce6800 or Radeon X800, use high resolutions and turn on anti-aliasing. It should look good!
Tested and seems to work on:
o GeForce 6800, 6600, 6200, FX5700.
o Radeon X800, 9800, 9700, 9600, 9550, 9500.
* Something like a 2GHz CPU.
* Somewhat recent video card drivers.
I really wish more people/companies could be honest like that, I understood exactly what you meant. :)

Great demo, I enjoyed it a lot (both the story, graphics and music). I was particularly impressed by the real-time wall-fracture physics which would be kick-ass in a game (it at least shows that it could be possible soon).

Just one question: Why is it keyboard-only control in the interactive mode? Why no mouse control with free-look (like a standard FPS) ?

I noticed two graphical glitches:
1) The blue energy thing inside the robot didn't show up in soft reflections.
2) back of the head didn't blur correctly with DOF

As for design, graphical content etc. it's a very nice demo although it's friggin' huge! :D

No, it's not Humus' new demo; I'm just abusing part of his popularity by making similar topic names :rolleyes:

No need to, this demo should get enough attention of its own. That's awesome work!

I think this is the second demo that I've seen using that robot on the table and nothing under the table routine. What was the movie called that featured this back in the '80s? I think it was Jackie Chan movie too. Anyone remembers it?
