This game I am REALLY looking forward to, that's for sure. Wish it had been out already, but as usual, it takes time to polish things to a true sheen. The DS just starts to shine stronger and stronger, and with the brisker-than-ever sales of the Lite, I am sure games will look even better real soon. Everybody's gonna want to do the DS thing within not too long, standard will go up, programmers and artists will gain new levels of experience dealing with the hardware, everything's just gonna look better and better.

Oh for crying out loud, it's the censor filter that causes it... Just replace the asterisks in the address bar with the word "f*nboy" (spelled minus the asterisk, naturally) and the linky will work. Or better yet snag it from IGN as already mentioned, as it's sure to be of much better quality hosted there instead of in re-compressed and downsized format by youtube...

Still, game looks pretty darned slick, huh?

one of the very few games of presentational and mechanics quality on par with the arcade classics of my youth.. that's oodles of pure goodnes right in your palms! damn, i haven't been able to put down dawn of sorrow for the past month, hoping to curb the urge to singlehandedly storm konami's HQ, take Igarashi hostage and make them bloody finish the damn game!

btw, hearing that voice saying 'I am..' i totally expected to hear 'Goldman!' ; )))

i swear this is the same voice actor from HOTD2. man, that game's gonna be one hell of an experience. nothing sets me on fire in a videogame like an utterly annoying master villain : )

I have to rescind my original statement and re-phrase myself after having watched the IGN version of the movie; it's actually rather sick graphics... VERY impressive for a cheap consumer device, I really have to applaud Konami.

It is actually Neo*Geo quality on the 2D effects, more or less. I'm sure the DS could perfectly replicate any of those old classics, if it wanted to. That, and MORE even, thanks to the built-in 3D hardware, which can draw into a 2D scene as well for even more sprites and backgrounds...

DS is quite a little power-pack it seems!

ps: now this is one title that can really ruin my holidays - all it takes is for it to be delayed till after the holidays. and i don't appreciate being vulnerable like this.

I'm in the middle of Dawn of Sorrow just now (although haven't played any in a couple of weeks), so hoping to finish it before PoR arrives. Loving DoS so far, really good fun and great to play.
