New Black screens

    New Black demo coming out in January. And the game is coming out in Feburary 2006.

    And for the big news. Here is a video a guy playing a demo for Black. The freaking game is straight GOTY. The smoke, the framerate, the sound, etc. OOOOMG please check out the 7 minute demo video.

    Hell yeah! That looks so incredible!

    WHY not next gen. WHY!!??

    I notice he's playing the Xbox version :lol: Wonder if the PS2 will be as high qaulity? Because face it some pretty amazing stuff can be pulled off on the Xbox.

    GOTY!

    I'm about to sell my Xbox..will this make a quick transition to backward compatibility?

    Correct me if I'm wrong but don't they usually develop for one platform and then port to the other consoles? Doesn't EA do this using the PS2 as the base? Did Criterion do this with Burnout.
    I have a feeling that the PS2 will look somewhat the same aside from having more jaggies and the occasional frame rate drops.
    Either way the game looks like it'll be fun to play.

    The guy in the video confirmed that it's using a modified Burnout: Revenge engine, so scale your expectations against the relative differences between the two versions of that game.

    Yep the PS2 will probably have better sparks, while the framerate of the Xbox version will probably be better.
