Nanostray for DS in action.

Ah ok.

The touch screen is a radar, health, score and power up selection HUD. Is a silly use i guess. Sure i wont be using that radar, less in a shooter.

Theres a 2 player coop and head to head, wich i think is great.

The game looks good in the graphics and features department, now is up to the gameplay.

Only 1 screen displays 3d anyhow
This has never been confirmed, AFAIK... Current titles only seem to do 3D on one screen, but surely drawing 3D to the primary screenbuffer, then blitting the image to the other screen's buffer and re-drawing the primary screen for display must be possible. It'd probably mean sucky performance though, as the DS is somewhat challenged in that regard already. Probably a reason why developers have avoided it so far. Probably won't stay that way through the device's entire lifetime though. Some day someone will make a game with twin-screen 3D graphics, even if it looks like the original Starfox... :p

I thought DS didn't have screen buffers?

3D is possible on both DS screens at the same time - at 30FPS. There's at least one game in development that's doing that.

Why not at 60 fps? Halve the detail on both screens so that it would have done 120fps.....do ds's screens even refresh at 60 hz? I think GBA's refresh level was like 15.

The video has convinced me that the DS actually seems to have some form of 3D acceleration. Smile

Wasn't that already known?
