myspace users- whats up with all the friend request spam

Recently I've gotten like 5 requires from a few "girls" who's jobs are to suppsedy make people money, some models, even a porn star.
not that I dont wanna see some nudes of some chicks. but why do models and even pornstars try to get added?
I dont get it

a good amount of it are for either spams or from posers...

i've had quite a few...

you approve it and low and behold your account has spam testimonials about penile enlargement pills or about pills that'll make you last longer...
