More PSP pricing to attract attention.

Mmmmmmm sounds strange... I'm just 100% sure i've read the 15M figure... Or 12M.... Surely more than 3M...

Conspiracy?
Or maybe you read a quote of Bruno Bonnel talking about Ipod sales.

 I mean, the thing is that i don't really care, it's just very frustrating thinking i've read it in a lot of papers, and now it turns up it's not true:
1) i'm totally stupid
2) they're all liars
3) other (specify)..............

In other news Itawa told Bloomberg that the DS will be priced similar to the GBA SP. So i guess 149$ might really be it.

Totalvideogames reports that Nintendo registered a number of trademarks in march and are wondering if one of them is the official name of the DS (Nintendo confirmed that the name will be changed).

I wonder how much the dual screens and in particular the touch screen is going to cost Nintendo. I also wonder how that compares to the nice screen and faster hardware in PSP.

I was just going by quarterly sales as far as the iPod goes. From the end-of-2003 SteveNote, they'd just gotten to 2 million, and the Q1 they just passed got them 730k, so I guess they certainly could have hit three million by now, but it's only right around there. People seem to keep misrepresenting how many have actually sold since they still account for the vast bulk of HD-MP3 players (which isn't a huge industry yet) and are so recognizable a machine at this point.

I don't know about the price of touch screens. But I think two normal 3 inch screens would be cheaper then one high quality 4.5 inch screen. Perhaps overall the price of the screens in both systems are similar. The price of the rest of the hardware in both systems must be far cheaper in DS.
