This is an interesting idea, and I haven't heard of Sony/Nin doing the same.

This pretty much means developers are leaving uni and telling their employers they can make XBox games. A little devious.

Um, For Nintendo, we call it "digipen" in seattle, washington...for Sony, it's called "computer science" degree

I always found OGL the least "open" API of all time regarding consistancy, hardware, etc but that's me

altough i agree this procedure is quite fishy, others are doing the same all around.

here in montreal theres a special program at the university funded by the government (!!) and ubisoft and when you graduate you have no choice but to work with either ubisoft or another branch of guillemot (the owner of ubisoft.)

No different from other corporate sponsored education programs, the auto companies do it a lot for service techs. Esp BMW and D-C.

Well, hope MS gets a efficient Java-Runtime going, its hard to find a CS-Stundent that can deal with C/C++, much less assembly
