Madden 2006 Demo - Impressions?

I just downloaded the madden 06 demo from live, wondering if anyone was as impressed by the GFX as I was. They were simply amazing, this game just rocketed to my top3 most impressive launch titles graphically.

Did anyone else have bugs with the announcer though? As in there was none?

I think I might pick this game up, looks like a blast.

I haven't downloaded Madden yet, but I downloaded NBA Live and it looks stunning, except it has some aliasing issues, but the craphics quality really surprised me.

edit: I'm downloading Madden right now.

I have the game and it looks great, plays ok and is pretty stripped down. The announcer issue is not a bug, John Madden and Al michales are not in the 360 version of the game, they are using more of a local stadium announcer for the game. I'd still rather have NFL 2k6 it will be awesome on the 360, but this years 360 Madden will tide my football needs this year

In the demo I had nothing, no announcer or anything, did you have to turn it on?

All I get was: "Here we go..." then "Hut" x 10

It seems fairly full featured to me, as long as it has franchise mode, and seasons that's all I'm looking for. I don't spend much time in the other areas of the game anyways.

madden and live look great and I love the way they used the new camera angles to show the graphics off. the games themselves are lacking in feature though

NBA2K6 should have done something simular with the camera because it's hard to see the graphics upgrade while playing from the same views as before

well then you are missing the absolutely 2 best cameras ever designed for sports games ... NBA 2k6 for X360 has the Drive and (next gen only) Floor cameras.

down low, on the court, rotating constantly behind the controlled player, action camera and absolutely IMO the most playable cameras.

it's like being there and you actualy get to see the graphic upgrade.

better than Madden even.
