KMV switches?

Or KVM, or whatever...them thingies that let you have two different monitors/mice/keyboards hooked up to the same PC and you can switch 'em on the fly?

Do they work? Any drawbacks? I'm thinking of just hardwiring a DVI & sound line from my PC to TV and wanted to hook up a wireless mouse/keyboard thru the box.

What do they have that can do that?

KVMs let you have multiple machines hooked upto one set of keyboard video display and mouse.

For your needs, USB should let you have multiple kb and mice NP. And a second output would be fine for the TV.

Nuts, I had the hardware backwards didn't I?

Thanks for the clarification, and yeah I guess my X800 has an unused DVI port on it and I got more than 3 empty USB slots.
