KILLZONE Shadow Fall [PS4]

The level design didn't look so hot in the demos already released at PS Meeting and E3.

Hopefully the singleplayer gets more exciting otherwise.

A game like this with GG as developer and Sony probably fronting quite a bit of cash to be developing it for quite a while, I hope they put a massive effort into making the SP memorable.

I won't be surprised if it's good, but not amazing though.

Hopefully they start with putting some proper characterization into the heroes and heroines of the game... it's been almost 10 years since GG has that properly in KZ1 lol.
 
It's too clean IMO. The problem being it highlights the separation of the scenery from the game. with no destruction...

Destruction is there but it's superficial.
For instance if you shoot a pillar some parts will fall off, or the ground is deformed by explosions.
Of course BF destruction is on another level.

no singing from grenades...

What do you mean?

Anyway lack of realism is disappointing...though I like that there are at least some "new" mechanics this time.

He means burn marks. It's 'sinjing' as opposed to 'singing' when you pronounce it. Ah the English language! What can you do? :)
 
Do all of them have a companion drone now ? We saw OWL, and the assault class have a buddy drone. Are they the same class/thing ?
 
Support and Scout might not have OWL/drone...or they could have it but with unique "abilities" such as zip-line.
 
I'm counting down the days!! I'm completely sold on the PS4 now, with the recent updates from PAX and TGS. And seeing off screens like this only make my decision firmer!
