FF2 is being ported to XB.
"Tensions will rise as Fatal Frame 2 on Xbox boasts a new mode that allows the player to move through the lost village in the first person view." Great!
"Timeline wise, is Fatal Frame II a sequel?
Keisuke Kikuchi: Fatal Frame I and II are both totally independent stories, so there is no connection.
Every time someone makes a sequel it is mandatory to ask…do you plan to make Fatal Frame into a trilogy?
Keisuke Kikuchi: Yes, I would like to make Fatal Frame in to a trilogy. Each Fatal Frame has independent stories, so if we have good ideas, the series will go on…"
What influences (movies, literature, urban legends) your work?
Keisuke Kikuchi: While eveloping this game, I researched a lot of materials, not only movies and literature, but also traditions and cases. I have learned unique atmosphere and feelings like an air from Japanese old novelist Seishi Yokomizo and the American movie the "Shining".
Dreamworks is making a film adaptation of Fatal Frame . Are you involved with the screenplay or any other aspect of the movie? Do you plan to make a videogame adaptation of the movie?
Keisuke Kikuchi: I have read the screenplay, but I am not involved in the movie. I think that I would make a video game that collaborates with the movie in some way, however, I do not think that I will make a videogame adaptation of the movie now.

Fatal Frame 2 is among my fav games this gen, IMO it is better than SH. Looking forward to FF3 and the movie.
