For a geforce ddr, does it only use OGSS for AA in 2x and 4x modes...well I suppose I could enable the other modes as well. Or does it use the RGSS for AA in 2x and OGSS in 4x?
Thanks...onlu RGMS on gf3 and above then I take it. With 2x setting. Better to just probably enable anisotropic instead on this gf ddr. Only has 32mb. And OGSS isn't all that great in my opinion. Seen it on a gf sdr and radeon and kyro/2. Though Kyro/2 might have just been a teensy bit better. Dunno.

Most people that have seen it in action agree Kyro's OGSS is superior to the Gf1 and Radeon. Cant comment myself. In terms of performance v IQ you might be happier with just enabling aniso. Bear in mind at 2xRGSS the V5 was generally as fast or faster at the time than the Gf2 GTS at 2xOGSS. So that should tell you how bad the Gf would be
is much better than radeon or nv...and kyro's. Then again my v5500 just doesn't play enough of games dx7 wise. And sometimes the passes necessary makes it pixelated at 32 bit. RGSS at 16 bit is nice but sometimes its just not feasible performance wise or just the matter of fact it isn't compatible. I was hoping those 1.09xxx might eventually help alleviate some of those problems. Know the progress on them Tagrineth or Colourless? I lost the url to 3dfx underground.
At slackercentral Aquoes and co have been passing out beta's for V5 owners to test. You might want to dig up a thread and contact there if you wnat. I lost interest when I got my 9700Pro as my sons V5 was replaced by my 8500.
