With the Wii U Pad & DualShock 4 basically being able to give the console an virtual skeleton of each player as they play using Inverse Kinematics. How much can this affect video games now & in the future?
Being that both controllers are made to be held with both hands & have motion sensors in them that give the consoles a pretty good idea of how they are being held & how you are moving with each interaction. This has me thinking. Could Sony / Nintendo use this data that's being collected to improve PS4 & Wii U games in the future?
For example in a racing game the controller notice a certain way that you shift before you make a left or right turn or how you pull back on the controller when you're about to hit the brakes. Save this data to your profile or the cloud to study it & update the game to react before you even press the button or use it when they are making motion controls for the game. Anther example is using your movements to duck & dodge or hold up shields & things like that.
