Yes, Everything. It is the full internet.
Cool, can you get a little plug-in keyboard or do you have to press the number keys multiple times for different letters?
(Yeah, I WANT wireless internet action!!!! ;) )

You will not have to go through hoops to get online anymore. Check it out

SEOUL, South Korea (AP) - South Korean video game fans will have to wait a little longer to buy Sony's new portable gaming system but they'll have access to an additional feature not yet available in North America - Internet access.

High demand worldwide for the new Sony PSP has delayed shipments to South Korea but the country's largest Internet operator said Monday it is teaming up with Japan's Sony Corp. to offer special services for the highly anticipated unit. Users will be able to surf the Internet from wireless access points and view unique content geared toward the device, said KT spokeswoman Nam Yoon-soo.

You can (hehe) use the phone keyboard T9 SMS-style, but there is also a software installed on the 6630 to connect to bluetooth keyboards, so I guess there is also the appropriate hardware out there.
But, as good as the browsing itself surprisingly works (both with the internal browser and opera) - at least on the 6630 you'd be still quite handicapped by the low resolution of the display. A VGA PDA would be a far better choice for that...
Anyone knows if and how you can rotate the screen on the 6630 for browsing?

Why would it really be hampered by that even assuming RAM and/or flashrom isn't used to cache contents? It's got broadband speed via wireless, it takes very little time to download most any page even if it isn't cached.

I TOTALLY forgot about the internal RAM. Duh. As for speeds, I've never browsed the inet over 802.11b so I can't comment.

Assuming the delivery to the WiFi host isn't restricted, 802.11b offers 11 Mbit/s peak = fast broadband. Page loading and streaming will be very nice. At least, until dozens of PSPs are out there all sharing one hotspot.

my dreamcast with his 33k modem surfed very nice the internet ,
i don't see why a psp would be hampered by lack ?of cache or some sorts

My DC was pretty slow on a 56K connection for internet browsing. For online games it was fine though. Anyway surfing the internet on a 802.11b connection is pretty fast even without any cache. I just tested this on one of my PCs with a 1MB cache setting.
