How would someone overclock these things?

Change the laser from red to blue?

So you going to open up the silicon chip and change the lasers around? Good luck.

Killer,
If you ask a silly/facetious question surely you should not be surprised to get a similar answer in return.

My question was rhetorical. Doesn't anyone notice smilies anymore?

Anyway, it would be nice to see a move from traditional architectures.

Didn't intel announce this already like last year though, the Israeli division of intel had some laser cpu that operated at like 500ghz, but it wasn't programmable.(so was it an asic and not a cpu then?)

It doesn't work with the standard CMOS fab processes, and so can't be made with even a fraction of the efficiency of CMOS.
