Without more info on how or what is being done in his app, I have not got a clue what he is referring to.

Sorry Simon. It was just that he was kind of implying that it was a common occurance. So, being a little out of touch these days, I posted here.

Simply asserting that the driver is at fault is kind of jumping to conclusions in my opinion.

I am sure if he contacts Devrel here at IMG they would be happy to offer some help optimizing for his app, it may be the case that some behaviour of the app is causing problems. (E.g. any kind of GDI access to the EGL surface).
