Images and Trailer of Dead Rising

The idea of this game sounds rather interesting, and the shortness is not problem for me, actually I find it might be the opposite. Usually if a game lasts about 10 hours, I don't bother to play it again, except on some rare occasions like God of War, but if the game lasts about 3-4 hours I could give it another try, even if the experience would be the same, and in this case it seems that you'll get different experience on successive plays. I'm really waiting this game now.

Warning, I'm going to make a very obscure reference here...

Did you guys ever play "Adventure" for the Atari 2600? After thinking it over, this concept reminds me a lot of that game.

This was where the sword all the keys, the dragons, chalice, etc were all in the same places every time. When you first started playing the game you had no idea where any of the stuff was so you kept playing it over and over until you figured out the 'optimal' series of events to finish the game in the least amount of time (i.e. the most efficient with minimal 'backtracking'). This was one of my favorite games of that generation and i dont really know why, i just loved it and have even played it since online via a flash player.(You could also play a random mode where everything was shuffled every game for infinite replay value.)
Heres the complete map for kicks:

Dead rising is very reminiscent of that concept to me except with thousands more possiblities along the way. If the multiplayer mode can provide the same sort of replayability as the random mode i think they may be onto something here.

I wonder if they could also provide an unlockable randomized mode where the solution is ismplified but the locations of key 'quest' objects is randomized. That way you can have a pretty good excuse to run around and kill zombies but still have a gameplay purpose.

EDIT:Aw heck, enjoy:

Frank can Bulldog zombies heads in the ground (SPLAT!), gorrilla press and then throw them, hip toss, stomp on them, uppercut thier gut and take out thier innards, rip the heads off of downed zombies, irish whip (at which point the zombie will run for a while, knocking down any zombies they run into, or the wall). That's all I can think off that's been shown so far. Frank can earn more moves though, but those moves haven't been shown yet.
