I'm looking for a MIDI piano keyboard for Bubbles...

Uhm, I'm not sure...I got hold of a few music proggies (Fruitloops, Reason, AcidLoops) and wanted to play around with something I've had in the back of my mind for a decade or two now but I really need a midi keyboard and way to hook it up to my PC so I can enter some music more properly and then goof with it.

Does that answer the question? This is new territory for me, I'm having fun playing/learning though.

You're gonna need a midi-adapter, or a keyboard with USB. :p

You could buy a midi-controller keyboard with usb interface for around $100.

Essentially a controller requires an external sound module in order to create music. You may want to look into these links to see what I mean:
VST Host: http://www.hermannseib.com/english/vsthost.htm This program is the host for the instrument you want to play. There are tons of VST plugins out there. Here is a link to a fair deal of them:

&
http://dmoz.org/Computers/Multimedia/Music_and_Audio/Software/Plug-ins/

These act as an external sound module on your computer (and the VST plugins should plug into the software you are using as well)

I havea Fatar Studio 900 midi controller...full 88 keys weighted action with velocity sensitivity. I was thinking about selling it since I've hardly used it for the past 3 years. :)

It is a midi controller only and as MB said, it requires a sound source (plug in to your computer.)

It was about $800 new IIRC when I bought it about 8 years ago, I have no idea what it might go for now.

Here is a link to part of the manual. (I have the full manual, FYI):

Here's some used pricing I found:

(When this guy above said it's "built like a tank", he's not kidding!)

Looks to be $350+...but for you...$500. :)
