Silly topic but if you could go back in time when and where would you go? Only observations, no changing history and the like.

Heres my list:
colossus (one of the seven wonders)
temple of zeus (another wonder)
building of the pyramids
rome in its prime
construction/movement of the statues @easter island
id love to hear some of the speeches of the great oraters:
jesus, budha, calvin, ghandi, lincoln, a few others


how about yourself anything in particular youd love to do if you could go back in time?

I would either kidnap myself as an infant and raise me correctly or maybe prevent my parents from ever seeing each other altogether and just live my life as any other guy without having to worry about digging myself out of the current rut of Rumorville that I'm in.

i completly forgot about stonehenge(sp?). Another engineering marvel for its time.

I think chinas forbidden city(correct term?) would be another thing worth observing.

How about learning more about the states/govermnents that lost wars and were subsequently swallowed by the winners and erased by history. History is written by the winners so id like to learn about some of the loosers.

Actually I want to see some living ancient animals, such as dinosaurs, trilobites, and ancient cockroaches. If I can observe without being harmed, I'd like to see some of the greatest disasters such as the supposed asteroid impact which ultimately made dinosaurs extinct.

yeah that would be incredible seeing all those animals interacting with each other way back then.

Id also love to see whether the red sea was really parted? And the floods of fame from noah. (lots of religious events. )
