I finally have the ATi documents...

Do you want a B3D Tech Preview of R300/RV250?

If B3D would be yielding that much for hits I´m sure there could be a lot more done in terms of sensionalism.

I'm not suggesting any sort of "yielding" for hits. Just that it might be beneficial for the site to post something rather than nothing.

I don't see anything bad about posting this information, just that I don't know if I would bother reading it, as I think most that really can be said at this time already has been said.

I'm not sure thats the case. The documents are a little confusing in place and I think there may be more to it than some of the sites have put up becuase there was a rush to do them - the example I gave above concerning FSAA and various forms of compression is a prime one.

I'd like to have B3D do an article. Without a doubt in my mind, B3D would do a better job than the other sites out there. From reading a couple of the other sites articles, it seemed like there was some conflicting or at least different take on some items. Also, we know how the other sites tend to botch things up. I'd have more confidence in the B3D article. Even if the other sites have a seemingly acurate article, I'm always suspect of their accuracy.

If nothing else, it would add to the expanse of B3D knowledge base.

I think it could make for an interest series of articles that compares "launch hype" to "product reality". I think the industry is in need of this. My hope is that it would put a stop to outrageous PR/Marketing claims.

Even though i was initially against this, i agree with Dave, though we can also wait a REVIEW too (im quite a patient guy), but considering what u said i'm in flavor of a B3D Preview.
