How make IE save images in original format?

IMO IE is still the best browser, or let me rephrase that, most comfortable browser out there. I don't care about tabbed browsing, which is the only siginificant feature that Mozilla has and IE doesn't. I realize that many people like it though.

The problem with Mozilla is just that is has way to many bugs or strangenesses. It also renders slower than IE and in a more weirder way. It renders strictly top to bottom, while IE renders the structure first and fills the stuff in later. Much more convenient when you browse IMO, especialy with images.

Another strange thing: When you click on a image attachment in a forum, IE will just show that image. Not so Firefox, it will open an empty window, and then another window to show the image in (or prompt you to download it). I even filed a bug report on that, answer i got is that Firefox strictly follows W3C rules, and therefore it's not a bug. I have news for them: the user doesn't give a shit about W3C. He just want's to browse the net without too much hassle. There are countless of other annoyances like that.

And it's not that i haven't tried, from 0.4 i tried every major version and all had to go within 1-2 days. The best mozilla browser was actually beonex, but it was discontinued a long time ago. I even used it for a few weeks. I actually want to use Mozilla, but in its current state i just can't!

Well exactly which standard do you want them to follow? cause how are they supposed to know what to code I'm sure if I made a website and stop using like <HTML> and started doing

If you disable the pop-up blocker then mozzila works on like 98% for websites or so.
 
This dumb shit of a program wants to convert everything to BMP. Idiot thing... TIA!!! for any help.

Sometimes hitting the back button and forward button will work. Also clean up your cache or increase cache size if you're opening pages with lots of high res pictures.

It is unwise for web masters to code for 1 browser, there is a standard for websites, either follow it, or let advanced users think you suck.
Even in my college web design class they tell you check code at the W3C site!
When was like the last time IE had a major update?
FYI, a popup blocker isn't a major update?
tabs are for users like my self who like to be organized.
In one window Ill have tabs that relate to say, computers, another window ill have.. a bunch of car related sites etc, it's much easier to work with sites that way, no goofing around with 20 IE windows, easier to work with etc.
As for page rendering, you can turn off the default delay to make it act like IE, but I prefer the delay, and comparing it to myIE2(obviously IE is the base for the browser) it consistantly rendered pages faster, especially using the back and forward buttens.
I think much better securtity, and lack of active x is a damn signicant feature.
Let's put it this way, when my famly was using IE, I had to clean the spyware off the computer once a week, and there would be 100+ data miners and even malware, since I switched them to firefix, I do it maybe once a month, and even then there is maybe 10 at the most.
There is everything to gain with firefox, and nothing to lose.
Also mouse gesters own, I juse use a few like right click and move the mouse up gives me a new tab, and a down movement with right click opens a new window, much faster than going to file new window, or clicking the quicklaunch.
FYI, there is a war going on right now, and IE is losing it doto lack of updates, look around you and see how many techies are using that ancient thing you call IE, I would hope not many, with poles on tech forums, firefox wins.
Futhermore, therei s more extentions than you know what to do with, like adblock, it's nice browsing site without ads I must say, I know you can do what in your hosts also, but it's easier to do with a simple right click,
I also use  bugmenot, so for sites that need a login, and I dont plan on coming back, a right click in in the user field gives me access, and recently I came accross foxytunes, so I can control winamp via firefox.
Tell me again why I should use IE again :wink:
Btw I have an extension that disables targets for donwloads also.
Any problem you have with the browser like lack of something is easily solves via extensions, though the downloads haveing a target did bug me.. not its not a problem.

it was more the implications that the general boards had now been designated the "gay" boards. which is kid of true. i think B3D needs to change the name.
