high end silent NV cards

Hi,
does anyone know of any silent fx5900 or above based video cards? I was looking for something similar to sapphire's radeon ultimate series.

AFAIK there is no totally silent FX5900 (or above) solution, but there are solutions that are reasonably quiet (ie. rather difficult to hear outside a closed case). Nothing you'd want to put in an HTPC for example however.

Zalman make a replacement heatsink-heatpipe solution that fits FX59xx series, but it's not silent, just quiet.

Ah ok.
Was just doing a quick survey of whether it might be worth changing to the gf6800 if it's introduced as part of a silent gf family. But you're right, none seems to exist. Also considering pci-express is to takeover soon, any gf6800-agp isn't exactly a future proof investment. Anyway that clears up any space for consideration of the 6800, i'll be sticking a while longer with the 9800u until R500/X800 silent variations from the sapphire family show up. Thanks for response.
