I like this quite lot. The story is decent and the visual are stunning. Also the film includes the most beautiful woman I've seen (Zhang Ziyi) so I really can't complain.

Yup, yup. For those that don't know who she is, she's the baddie in that Jackie Chan-Chris Tucker "Rush Hour 2" movie.

IMHO it think it's unique (at least in this part of the world) and brilliant.

Very simple, clear, and to the point.

It's not an action movie, more a beautifull storytelling exercise with a deep point.

It's the clearest "meaning of life" movie I have seen. Plus it's beautifully made, did I mention it, very theatrical.

I can't recall a single film with the innovative "color scheme" story-telling-from-different-angles theme. That in itself was very refreshing to me.

You are a top=notch idiot to call the story like that, if u understand the story like i have , it is one of the best storyline ever written in chinese movie. So please try to find out about the Warring State period where the story was based on then comment on it.
