HELP ME!

Hi all genious, I read all your post and i think u guy/girls are are very smart so i thought i post this little problem for u all to solve... Tell me if i've post in a wrong forum or u guy are not up to it ........

I just recently purchase my new computer system and this is the spec....

P4 3.0 Ghz
1024 MB DDR 400
Asus P4 P800-E Motherboard
Gecube ATI 9600XT 256MB
120GB Seagate
Pioneer DVD writer and ROM
Install XP service pack 1
Hyperthreading technology.

I have patch the blaster worm.

My problem is that every single time I connect to the internet after 5 minutes Internet Explorere has no data flow and I try

to used Mozilla but the same probelm persist.

I dont knwo whtat seem to be the problem - hardware, software conflict, viruses, spyware, Internet setting (im quite new to

XP)

So please help me sought this problem out, I want to enjoy my new computer not sitting here fixing it all day.

wait do you have the worm ?


If you don't it could be your firewall / router discounecting you. Or it could be your drivers. You can uninstall your lan drivers and download new ones. That might work

If you are using dialup then check your telephone line for fault, call up the responsible authority.

Try entering http://216.239.57.99/ in your browser. This is the IP address of Google. If you can get to that then it's probably a DNS failure.
