Dunno if it's related to R600 directly, but it looks as if some 430 people in Toronto and overseas are gonna get the pink slip.

Well, Hector suggested during the conf call for the disastrous 1Q that they'd let go up to 500 folks. So, no, I don't think it is R600-related. And frankly, cuts of 2.6% is not the actions of a company that feels it is fighting for it's financial life. Look at what Intel has announced cutting in the last year, and no one suggests they were in trouble. . .
