HDD and RAID Suggestions?

actually the 2x raptors was more for the space rather then the RAID ability or speed. 150gb is not alot if i'm going to try squeezing OS and games on it for the coming years.

Slightly of topic, but I buying a new 150GB Raptor to go with my old 74GB Raptor and Photoshop definitly likes to have a scratch disc rather than Raid.

In fact the three disc setup with OS/PS on one disc, photos on another and the scratch disc on the third would be the fastest way to set it up. Just something to think about before going ZOMG RAID Rulez! ;)

maximum pc says the seagate 750G is the best 7200rpm drive out there.
they use perpendicular rather than longitudinal writing...the 'bits' stand up rather than lay down, increasing the capacity and performance. first of it's kind.

i use a 150G raptor. i like it (almost full...8 months since i got it) thinking of adding a 750G myself. i'll have to figure how to plug it up though, never done it before.

i'd like to be able to keep all my fave games on the box at all times. sometimes i wish i still had original saves from first time i played to fool around with and reminisce and such.
