Ubisoft must be pissed, how much did they sink into this game...

About the quality of the game? I doubt it. Free Radical probably is (quietly), but I would guess Ubi is more concerned about sales. I have seen quite a bit of marketing force behind it (in the US). More so than other PS3 titles that were actually very good. I wonder how that will translate into units sold. This will be a good model for the review score vs. advertising debate.

As terrible as I thought this game was, if I can find it for $20, I would purchase it so I could play co-op.

Same here, co-op makes just about any game good. I enjoyed Army of Two co-op, but I doubt I could stomach it solo.

Seconded. That game was just as terrible, but my buddies and I got some good fun out of playing co-op.

I really enjoyed 4 man co-op with Halo.

Anyone want to buy this game, and send it to me? I'll play a bunch of co-op with you!!
