Having an audio problem with vista... can anybody help?

The volume is far too low. I have everything at 100% and it's very quiet.

This is a new PC that I built just today. The audio is the onboard realtek crap that's on everything. The motherboard is a Gigabyte P31-S3G, and the drivers that were on the installation CD. The version of the drivers is 6.0.1.5449.

Is any other information needed?

Thanks, I'll try it out later.

Now, I seem to have run into a bigger problem: It's not wanting to OC, and isn't registering my CPU fan on the Easy Tune 5 Pro utility(But shows it working in the bios), nor is it registering my two system fans in the bios...

I flashed to the latest bios, but this is still happening.

Edit: It appears I am partially wrong. I can OC, but not by much. So far, I've gotten it to 1.93 GHZ(It's a Pentium Dual-Core E2160, which runs at 1.8GHZ by default.). I have no idea why I'm having this problem. I have three fans running in the system(One intake, one outtake, and the CPU fan. The video card is passive.)., that should be enough to hit at least 2.6 GHZ...

Edit2: My CPU is being kept very cool, at 23-28c idle, so I don't think it's an overheating problem... I think it's related to whatever is causing the fans to not be detected by either windows or the bios. I know they're working, as I checked that out(Case has a lovely clear window on the side. I love it.).

Its best to OC from the BIOS and I think your problem is with the memory so lower the memory divider. As for the fan speeds, make sure easy tune supports your mother board. not all mother board by Gigabyte is fully supported by easy tune.

I have been OCing from the bios.

I'll try those suggestions, thanks.

Edit: Alright! That fixed it! Thank you so much!
