I once saw a moving white light in the sky, at night.
It moved a bit like a flying insect, with sudden changes of trajectory. It looked as though it defied inertia like it was nothing.
It was too far away in the sky to be a firefly, hence too big to be one. It accelerated and turned way too fast to be a helicopter or any human-made vehicle that I know of.
All of the sudden, the light faded and I never saw anything like it ever again.
That happened when I was about 15 years old (so 15 years ago?). My memories of when and where I was at the time are blurred. I was definitely in a rural place and I think it happened in the summer, and that's all I remember. But that light and the way it moved got clearly stuck in my memory.
I made an effort to never give that happening much thought, and I rarely comment it with anybody. A tinfoil hat life is definitely not for me, and I thought it'd be better if it had never happened at all.
There's only one other very weird story in my life, and that one was definitely not my imagination (I was with a group of friends and we still talk about it from time to time). But it's not about sightings.
lol.Do people who can't explain how a magnetron works in a microwave oven believe that the food is being cooked by ghosts?
multiple lights in the direction of airport
Two of the bigger ones was exploring some old ruins and small globes of light appeared, light up the room and vanished a dozen times. Old monk abbey so no power lines or other source of light we could find. One room it happened in was sealed with no windows.
No I wasn’t alone my partner was with me and I had our torch. It was far too bright for a firefly and too short lived not to mention to large a room. The lights appeared in corners and vanished in seconds it was like short flashes. It happened in two locations the 2nd time it happened was on that open area which no longer has a roof I was the only one to see that. The first time was just below the same area as the roof only in the room below with no windows so it wasn’t an outside light and we both couldn’t explain it. Not saying it’s a ghost but something odd seems to happens at Ruffed Abby. Were you alone?
Couldn't it be a firefly? Their light is rather weak, so most times you won't notice they're emitting light if you point a stronger light at them.
