I'm a ginormous fan of this series, despite the 4th book's Brienne trek through the wilderness of over 100 boring pages, but George won't have the 5th book done until the middle of next year.

Yeah, I'm a huge fan too. Just started re-reading the series in anticipation of A Dance With Dragons.

Not only was it 100 boring pages, but she ends up dead at the end of those 100 pages. I mean, WTF!?. (At least, we're lead to believe she's dead, though maybe not)
