Great weather in London

london-boy was whining about a cold Summer over here, but I'm just winding up 2 out of three weeks in London and the weather (save the thunderstorm two days ago) has been absolutely gorgeous!

I think the claims of rain and grey skies are just a bluff to keep the tourist ranks down.

Yea and how would london-boy know what the weather outside is like considering he's been spending all his time indoors, errr uhm, preoccupied. :p

lol. Blowing up a mighty storm here (Bucks).

Off to Malaysia for tomorrow for three weeks of 33C and 100% humidity. Wahoo!

Well, global warming does have it's advantages. However, try heading north to Manchester and you'll see what English weather is really like! :)

...... What's that big blindingly bright thing in the sky today???

.............. Why is the sky BLUE today?!?!?!?!

What's going on here!!!!!!!!!!!

anyone know how the weather is in london/uk and europe in late september? Anything interesting to do as a tourist around that time?

I don't think there are reliable weather forecasts for such a long term :?
Could be sunny or raining, not snow though, at least not here in Finland. Temperatures will probably vary from +10 to +20 Celcius.

Obviously there are no weather forecasts for 2 months away, but u can expect temperatures of no more than 20 (that's if its really hot), and misery all round.
Not to spoil the party or anything..

Depends on what u like really, but it's fair to say that there's always something going on around London. Hard to get bored if u're a tourist.

My plans will probably only be for 2 or 3 days in london. One spent visiting the hindu temple in london (biggest outside of india). Is sunday a busy day, or do most people just take it easy and hang out at home?

ps i love to sit on my ass and watch tv or do something with the computer, any fairs that will cater to my taste? ;)

The hindu temple (in Neasden i think... Or Willesden.... Can't remember) is really amazing, a bit hard to get to, but it is one beautiful place.
Other than that, you might just want to take it easy, have a picnic in Hyde Park...
If it's nice and sunny you can expect loads (and i mean LOADS) of people enjoying the last few hours of sunshine before the winter comes.
