Got a PSP today;-)

I got a PSP today.
It was a super sale in Olso, Value Pack at 995,- Norwegian Krones (approximately 125€, cheapest ordinary price is around 255€...) and with only 1000 in stock at that price:D
Although I have played around with my friend's one, it felt so good to hold my own. It's just so elegant, so clean. Even my girlfriend considered it "sexy";-)
So, any recommendations on games these days?

Btw, I'm writing this from it. Always thought it was so cool when people did that:p

there's a bunch of pretty sweet games out for psp atm. I really enjoyed wipeout pure and ridge racer. The graphics on this thing always amaze me, it's pretty awsome. The syphon filter game got amazing reviews, so you might want to pick that up too. I haven't played it myself though. Also lumines is worth while getting. Great 'pick up and play' sorta game. Anyways have fun with it! I know I loved (I had to sell it for various reasons *cries* I plan to buy another one soon) mine xD
 
Don't forget GTA:LCS, Tales Of Eternia and Daxter.
Especially ToE, a very nice "old school" 2D RPG.

Even though the 3D is very good in PSP, I've found myself liking 2D (or pseudo 2D) games on PSP more, don't know why, but maybe it's just that they are easier on the eyes snd easier to play on the go.

I think the Megaman game for PSP might be good fun too.
 
Get Lumines now ! :)

Got my PSP a few weeks ago, and I'm quite impressed by it also. While I prefer the gaming experience available on the DS, the PSP has quite a few good games on its own (right now I have Tales of Eternia, Lumines, Wipeout Pure and Untold Legends, awaiting Daxter and Syphon Filter), and extra features which are a nice bonus.
 
...And Nintendogs, Brain Training, Metroid Hunters and- OOPS! ;)

Isn't good ol Wipeout Fusion a good racer for the PSP? I've not checked it out, but the series used to be well-regarded...

I noticed the Syphon Filter thread, which looks spectacular:D, and after reading a couple of reviews I'm very eager to get my hands on it, and especially to get a load of wifi online gaming!
I suppose Id like GTA and Daxter, but I've played all of those games on my PS2, so I would like something new. Lumines looks fun and probably Untold Legends too:)
Oh and the games are region free on PSP right?
 
Wait till a future issue of the official PSP magazine debuts (not sure if it's next issue or the one after). Has their first "perfect" score for a PSP game.
 
sindre, in case your psp's firmware version is above 2.0 you may want to get GTA too ; ) if you're wondering why go check some of the psp homebrew sites (e.g. pspupdates.com)

Hehe, yes I've been hanging around there for quite some time;-) Lot's of nice stuff! "Sadly" I've got 2.01. Although I'm considering GTA, I'll wait a bit more to see if they may crack it withouth the game. Then I'll try out your game too PeterT:)
