Please check your behavior at the door. The point of this thread was already explained and it is different. If you wish not to participate fine. But ATTACKING and false statements are beyond the rules of this forum.

You were once a mod and you are familiar with the rules.
The point of the other thread was addressing the same things you are bringing up in this thread. Ibelieve you understadn that it was locked for that very reason . Yet you want to hash it all out again .

All three are different. This is on the FIRST PAGE of this thread

The third shot is from the actualy e3 video . The second one is part of a media package and is prerendered according to some .

They have already been talked about in the other thread that you don't feel the need to read

There are almost a dozen differences from the same perspective. One being that at the exact same place in the game the shadows are different.

That still does NOT explain--officially--the differences. You are still subjectively speculating.

We already know from the video that the shadows and lighting change. Just watch the e3 video link in the other thread. It will explain many of your problems . The lighting matches up. The only diffrences that don't match up are the textures of the characters .

Link? How many times must I ask for a link?
I've already posted a link to the other thread. Apparently its a thread you've read becasue you seem to talk alot about whats in it . Yet you don't seem to know whats actually in it .
Is this a joke? That says NOTHING about what we are talking about!

Your the joke

This is what point 5 was

5. The Xbox, Xbox 360, PC - 3 versions - is new to me. I do not remember any threads mentioning all three or having content of all three
And I said its been known for a long time since march at least that there are 3 versions . And i linked you to ign which has the announcment for the xbox version as march something .

I think its a joke that you don't even remember your questions / points from a previous post

And indeed they were not addressed there.

And again, I did read the thread. If you go back and read it you will see I posted in it.

Nothing was settled less YOUR opinion. I am asking for facts and not the trolling mess in that thread.

Its apparent that even though u were posting in it , you weren't actually listening to what anyone else was saying .
Your bringing up things that were pointed out and explained between the diffrent pictures already in that thread. Now if you have another opinion that is fine . But its apparent you never bothered to read that thread as your posts here show you have no clue what went on there and its laughable that you bring this up as you didn't even know there was an xbox version .

Once again there is a whole other thread about this subject in which these things were discussed that you claimed you read and yet if you did you would have seen these points were brought up and explained in the other thread and yet you still want to rehash them . Your ignorance on the subject is astouning . IF you had actually read up or even had anything more than a passing intrest to troll on ms you would have known this game was coming out for the 3 systems. You most likely would have known that the name of the game was also changed .

The PC version runs on a totally different engine than the Xbox 360 version.

PC version ='s DX9 engine by Swedish developer GRIN. For people with a PPU installed, the game will utilize Novadex for physics. If no PPU is present, the physics will done by on the CPU by Havok software.

Xbox 360 version ='s UBI next-gen console engine named YETI. Physics by the multi-threaded console version of Novadex.

well sorry to seem that i am attacking you, but..... aren't 256mb enough to have different equipment? you must be kidding me....

come on.... this is getting to the point of ridiculous.

i guess my 9800pro 128mb is doing the impossible playing UT2004 with 20 players having each one a different skin/model.

the game its not finished and thats it. I would be more concerned about the low qual lighting by this time of the championship (dead-line for lauch) than the textures in the wall and characters.

Apparently Microsoft has almost "gold" versions of Ghost Recon up and running on the Redmond Campus. This is from a post from on Ghost Recon.net.

Just to clarify upon what Whiteknight commented on. I am unable at this time to comment on "empty boxes" at the GC in Germany. However, the comment "There is no playable 360 hardware yet." would not be accurate. There are "playble" and "almost complete" Xbox 360 consoles on campus in Redmond. A few fellow MVP's have just returned from a visit to campus from the "Longhorn"/"Vista" labs, and were treated with play time on the Xbox 360 consoles with Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter (GR3). They were not gold copies, but they are essentially late RTM builds.

I do not have the details as to whether or not a hard drive was present at the time of GR3 game play to let you know of "load times". However, feedback was extremely positive. One of those "you had to be there"

The one negative feedback item on the Xbox 360 is that the online pictures make the console look better than in real life and doesn't have the same "quality" feel as the current Xbox as far as the casing goes.

Just thought I would drop in based on an email from a friend of mine. Great site you guys have here. I might stick around.

My faith in GR:AW increased a lot when I read this post. Feeback being "extremely positive" is also very encouraging.

But why would they release such a low qaulity video, just over 2 months before launch?

either a) they're prepping us for a let down or b) intentionally lowring expectations to blow us away

'b' would be very wierd though since they already raised the expectations to a huge level at E3.

i guess C would be there is no motive....just an old build that they decided to toss out there, although they DO have a marketing department right?

perhaps they are just "probing" how hardcore fans react... such as a reality check.
From what i saw, nobody noticed differences in hardcore forums (another word to say fªnboys forums)...
so if the game came out like that video, nobody in there would remember how much good the game looked in those render-to-spec pictures.

Kind of an odd poll I guess. I chose will look worse than the PC version but its really an unfair comparison.

Give me a top of the line AMD 64 chip paired with 2 top of the line ultra SLI boards, and 2+ gigs of the fatest RAM available, and there is no way the 360 should compete. Depending on how you prioritize things, just the fact that the PC version will be able to output resolutions above 1280x720 could end the contest right there.

It's a cool idea that a console will be more powerful than up-to-the-minute PC parts, but it never really happens. Same sort of hype surrounded Xbox1. At that time top of the line PCs equiped with top of the line GeForce 3 GPUs outperformed the Xbox, though all the hype said the the Xbox would be faster, or on par at worst.

That assumes they will build the game to take advantage of all the features that a new CPU (e.g SSE3) and GPU (SM 3.0, HDR, normal map compression, etc).

Which of course they wont.

Even in games that support new features, but are based around old technologies (e.g. Half-Life 2 which has DX9 effects but has a baseline of DX7) vs. a game that is based around DX9 features as the minimum standard (e.g. UE3)

Supposedly the Xbox 360 engine is their "new" next gen engine. If it is designed with a Xenos-Class GPU as the minimum standard for performance AND feature set I would imagine this would look a LOT better than a game with PS 1.4 / FX 5700 class hardware in mind as the minimum with some extra features for newer cards.

Just having a good PC wont make the game better... it depends what featureset/performance they are aiming for. And since the majority of PC gamers don't buy $300 GPUs, let alone SLI rigs, I would imagine that GR3 for the PC would be aiming at DX8 class hardware with some DX9 bells and whistles.

At least that is what most PC games have done.
