GeForce-FX: Christmas?

Hellbinder they have a few tihngs wrong with their description of the Radeon 9700 Pro (mixed up the VPU and Mem clockrates).

I dont think it is intentional... I think they need a new editor to write their product reviews/details - the current one seems to be a bit of a ignoramus.

No one else wondering about the Price? £329.99 is pretty reasonable, non? Compared with the prices of their Radeon 9700 Pro (£314.99).

PS Hellbinder all this agro you seem to vent can't be good for your health. I fear an ulcer coming on. ;)

Its sad how tried hard these guys are yet they missed the boat. It must be fun writing the marketing documents when you obivously know nothing about the technology....

Me: How much RAM does it have?
Store: What is RAM?
Me: The memory in the PC
Store: Oh 64, and that's alot!
Me: 64 what?
Store: I don't know but its 64 and that's alot...

Shopping around for my first PC over 20 years ago (64 KB by the way). Not much has changed from there in someplaces.

With new high-end products it normally takes 3 generations of revisions to get it right, I wonder if NV40 or GeForce FX 3 in late 2004 and R400 will be the cards that really do deliver all the goods? Not to say the 9700 and NV30 aren't fantastic cards. But if this is the dawn of cinematic rendering - it fill be fun to see what high-noon deliver us!!!
