Are Nintendo talking about anything? At these events it always seems like Sony and MS at very visible, and Nintendo just mind their own business.

Well, XBLive for your 360 if you happen to own one.
This is good for existing XBlive subscribers, or potential subscribers, it adds additional value to the subscription.
I can't fathom why a PC gamer, who didn't own a 360 would ever pay $50 for this though.
I wouldn't exactly call that worth it -- paying for something that's already free, on that platform even, is a slight kick in the balls. I surely hope they offer the ability to play online free in some way -- maybe not allowing 360 and PC players to play together if both don't have Live... If that's the case, then I don't see an issue with it at all.
Edit: Forgot about Live subscription being cross platform -- 360 owners can use their acc on PC... that makes it suck a lot less.

You would certainly hope this is the case, charging Shadowrun PC gamers and additional $50 on top of the $50 game they just purchased, just to play online with other PC gamers would be insane. Especially considering it's essentially an online only game!
Shadowrun must be the first of many projects I'd guess. It'll give PC gamers a sense of online unification that I don't think exists yet.
Caveats...
When I say PC gamers I mean the untapped guys... not the hardcore sort who like their independence.
I know nothing about online PC gaming. Or PC gaming full stop. The only PC game I own is FEAR.
Are you there now ? I am looking for someone who attended the RSX and PS3 technical sessions and can share.
