GC games on Wii:How will they run?

When the Wii swallows up the GC disk, do we know if they will run in full Wii mode like an old PC game on a new PC with all the benefits, or will the Wii lock itself into a Gamecube mode?
Couple of the benefits that might be nice if possible from GC games now running on Wii:
1.All games that aren't already,run in 480p.
2.Games that weren't good or fun before, all of sudden become more fun from running in a more powerful system.
3. 2XAA applied to all games.
4. Increased framerate for games that might have been choppy before.

What say you?

Don't expect anything else than what you would get running the game in an NGC.

Actually, I've been wondering about no.4 myself.

For example, Rogue Leader is locked at 60fps. However, it [very] often dips well below.

Can the Wii deliver Factor 5's promise of [constant] 60fps Rogue Leader? :)

If Wii can make MK:DD!! run faster (i.e. the karts move too slow!) then I will get a Wii.

But in regards to stabalizing framerates, that is a good question, although my guess is "No" because you would need profiles because my guess is "overclocking" could mess up some games. Too bad :( But BC is a selling point--they don't want to make older games run well enough to compete with new ones!

I don't understand what you mean by profiling and the need to O/C, Acert.

We don't want RE4 (for example) to go from 30fps to 60fps. That would require some programming.

If the GCN games run without emulation on Wii, I'd fully expect less slowdown. It only makes sense.

Isn't it obvious silly.

No, actually its not. I hope you're not referring to using the Wiimote to play GC games. Unless, of course, there's some magical gesture recognition dynamic mapping system that will map moves to button presses, automatically, for each GC game, allowing use of the Wiimote. Seriously though, I'm lost on that one.
