Has anyone had luck streaming 4K@120fps via gamestream? I tried streaming resident evil revelations 2 but it seems encoding speed on the host is capped at ~100 fps on my setup below. Vsync is off on both host and client and the host always renders at 120fps. Streaming 1080p@120fps works fine. The cap only appears when the host is rendering at 4K.
It appears that nvenc isn’t fast enough to process 4K frames at 120fps regardless of target resolution. I also tried different encoding bitrates from 60 up to 150Mbps but it made no difference.
Render 4K + encode 4K -> 98fps
Render 4K + encode 1080p -> 98fps
Render 1080p + encode 1080p -> 120fps
Host: 3090 + 5800x3D
Client: 1650 Super + Moonlight
Network: Wired Gb Ethernet
