Gameboy player on GC

Bought one and installed, it connects to the high speed port at the bottom of the GC and runs in progressive or interlaced mode.

Here are a few pics of the item with one screen shot, there are various options, e.g. color of the GBA, Full screen or normal screen (make it looks like you are playing on a normal GBA), Controller settings, soft/normal/sharp picture, ...

Can you tell me if there are rubber feet on the underside of the GB Player unit, or maybe even provide a shot of the underside?

Are those metal pin thingies sticking up out of the top side screws that goes into the Cube?

How about the openings along the right side that look like ports, are they actually just that? Linkup connector maybe, and what more? (Seems to be 2 ports there).

The fact that you need a bootdisk sucks... Still going to get one though when the US-version is out.

And why can't Nintendo put FOUR friggin rubber feet on their consoles these days? NES - four feet. SNES - four feet (not sure about the satellite expansion thingy though). N64 - two feet. GC - two feet. GB Player - two feet. What, are rubber feet really really EXPENSIVE? Grrr!

Thanks! And thanks again for all the cool pics! It sure looks schweeeet, like all Nintendo hardware really; very slick design, and seems to be well-built too. I like they take such care with RF shielding, hehe, even the memory cards of the GC have a metal shield, that is way cool.

Hope they release this thing in black when it finally hits Europe... My Cube is black... (Would have been chrome if they had chrome cubes in euroland! *sigh*)

As what you can see from the box photos, there are 4 colours to choose from, Violet, Orange, Silver and Black for the Japanese version, I suppose the same set of colours should be available in any other place of the world.

We only have black and purple cubes over here. With any luck they'll release the player in black, that goes pretty well with purple anyway.

The broadband adapter is black also.

I think N only relesed black BB adaptor everywhere in the world and it doesn't matter as it is considered hidden to the eyes comparing to GB player.
